Brittany M. Vojak has experience in state and federal court litigation and business counseling, including civil business litigation, professional liability matters, and complex commercial disputes. Her expertise also includes advising businesses on contracts, risk management, and operational legal issues, with particular experience in the construction industry.
Ms. Vojak practiced with Fitzgerald Knaier LLP from 2019 to 2023, where she handled a variety of civil litigation matters in state and federal court. During that time, she managed all phases of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation, and second-chaired two trials.
Following her time at Fitzgerald Knaier, Ms. Vojak served as in-house counsel for a commercial construction contractor. In that role, she acted as the company's principal legal advisor on contracts and business operations, managing a high volume of commercial agreements and advising executive leadership and operational teams on contractual risk and business strategy. She also oversaw the company's litigation and legal exposure, resolving disputes where possible before litigation and managing outside counsel when disputes progressed to formal proceedings.
Earlier in her career, Ms. Vojak practiced with the San Diego law firm of Klinedinst, P.C.
Ms. Vojak graduated cum laude from California Western School of Law, where she completed her law degree in two years. While in law school, she served as Executive Editor of the California Western International Law Journal. She was also a recipient of an Academic Merit Scholarship, the Diane Ethics Scholarship, and the Peggy Browning Scholarship, and was recognized as a Student of Distinction. Ms. Vojak received her Bachelor of Arts in English and Political Science from the University of California, Irvine.
Ms. Vojak is a member of the State Bar of California and the San Diego County Bar Association and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Southern and Central District of California.
